I thought I would show you a little bit of my process.

I’ll usually start with a basic sketch of the form and composition.  If I am taking the illustration more seriously, this can take fucking forever.

Next, I’ll work in the background and base colors for the figure.  I’ll use this time to edit the details to my liking as well.

And there you have it.  A few hours of solidifying the colors and the form later and I usually call it good.  I took some inspiration from the designs for Blue Sub 6, if you happen to remember that series.

This one was a lot of fun.  I love abstracting the human form and seeing what I can still make pretty.
